Do you live in Richmond, KY, and need specialized training for your dog? You and your dog can work one-on-one with me to get you both on the right track.
Specialized training that suits your dog’s needs…

Is your pup having trouble on the leash? Do you need crate training? Have you come a long way with basic training, but can’t seem to make any more progress?
Well, you’ve come to the right place! Training can be fun and rewarding. In private lessons, I can coach you on how to teach your dog all the tricks he needs to be a member of your family.
Your dog should be a member of the family, and private training with Happy Tails Dog Training can get your family moving forward on the right foot — and paw!
Meet Your Dog Trainer

Hello! My name is Zoe Payne, and I am the owner of Happy Tails Dog Training. I will be the professional trainer working with you and your pup.
My love for dog training goes way back to 2010 when I got my first dog, Lucy. I enjoyed the training process with Lucy, especially the private lessons and agility classes. After developing my training skills, I started training other people’s dogs and have helped many pups (and their owners) grow in their skills.
As a dog trainer, I aim for a calm and collected dog – and handler! I assess each pup and family individually and structure my methods according to what you need most!
I love helping you find the perfect family member in your pup. I’d love for you to be a part of the Happy Tails family! Discover my training opportunities.
Training For Whatever Your Dog Needs
Does your dog need to learn the basics—or brush up on them? Do they need training in a few specific areas where they misbehave? If so, the Happy Tails Private Training program is a great option for you and your dog!
Working with many different types of dogs gives me the experience and knowledge I need to train your dog best. We will work together, most often at a public park, where your dog and I will work through any issues or troubles they may be experiencing. Then, I make sure you and your dog have the communication and handling skills you need to continue with training long after the program is over.
Alliance of Therapy Dogs

Once your dog completes our advanced obedience course, they have the skills to become a volunteer therapy dog.
