What training methods do you use?
“I use a mixture of methods. Treats and no treats, tools and toys, positive and negative reinforcement, etc. I believe every dog will process things slightly different than the other, so where one method fails, another will prevail.”
Do you train off-leash skills?
“Yes! Once a solid foundation is set, I’d love for every dog to learn how to work off-leash.”
Is my dog too old to learn obedience?
“The best age to teach the basics is before they are one and a half years old. Though, most dogs can still learn the basics till they are 7+ years old. This does vary, and will likely take longer to teach things if the dog is older. But they can still learn!”
